It’s about stepping out of the shadows of others and into the light to radiantly live life to the fullest. But, you cannot have that if you cannot figure it out.

And not figuring it out leaves you stuck...stuck in the cycle of dieting & fighting to overcome obesity and all the dangers you face through your unhealthy lifestyle.

Let's look at how this could cost you...

  • People with diabetes, on average, incur approximately $13,700 in medical expenses each year, of which about $7,900 is attributed to diabetes. People with diabetes, on average, have medical expenditures approximately 2.3 times higher than those without diabetes. 
  • According to the American Academy of Sleep Apnea, the annual economic burden of undiagnosed sleep apnea among U.S. adults is approximately $149.6 billion. This includes almost $87 billion in lost productivity, $26 billion in car crashes, and $6.5 billion in workplace accidents.
  • According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, high blood pressure was a primary or contributing cause of death for more than 410,000 Americans in 2014—that's more than 1,100 deaths each day. High blood pressure costs the nation $48.6 billion each year. This total includes the cost of health care services, medications to treat high blood pressure, and missed days of work.
  •  When you gain weight, your heart is required to pump more blood than it did before. Instead of beating more often, the heart grows slightly larger so that it can move more blood with each beat. This increased blood low often leads to high blood pressure, which is a major contributor of heart disease. Even if your blood pressure doesn't climb, your heart can still suffer from the extra workload. When the chambers of the heart grow larger, they slowly lose some of their squeezing power. Eventually, they may not be able to completely empty themselves with each beat. As blood starts pooling in your heart, you can develop congestive heart failure.
  • Quality of life is defined as the standard of life that a person experiences,. typically as it relates to health, comfort, and happiness. Having a great quality of life is priceless. The ability to live and move freely and enjoy the fullness of life is invaluable, and no price can be placed upon it. But, obesity negatively impacts your quality of life.


I want you to know that I have been exactly where you are! 

For many years I was in the same desperate situation where I was in the vicious cycle of dieting, struggling to get freedom from those very same issues. I was literally fighting for my life…my future…all the possibilities that I desperately did not want to miss out on. Because, as you know, being overweight is MORE than just about the physical weight you carry. It’s about the emotional and mental baggage and the setbacks we experience by being ashamed, embarrassed and unsettled with the person that we see in the mirror. We absolutely DO NOT live our best life because we can’t—we lack the comfort, confidence and capability of being our best person because we physically are not our best person. 

For years I tried…hard. Every product I could think of. Every pill someone suggested. I even shelled out big bucks to try hypnosis!!! And every time, before long, I would end up right back in the same place that I started. Fat and frustrated. 

But finally…I found my freedom. 

You see, I discovered that the problem is not just the nutrition. It’s not just the exercise. There are other key elements that I was missing that inhibited my ability to focus in, execute and sustain for the long-term. I was so busy chasing solutions that I couldn’t get beyond the scale to embrace the process to truly change my life. But, thank God I finally did. Today, at age 41, I am living my absolute best life!! And now as a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, Life Coach and Certified Overcomer, I help other women do the same.  

You see, sometimes you can be too close to the problem to see the solution. Sometimes you are in the smoke and you can't see through the fog. And that's where a great coach, like me, comes in.

 While you have been struggling to figure it out on your own, I've been helping women break through and crush the obstacles in their way to prioritize themselves, get the change they want, and make it long-term to impact the rest of their lives. I've had the pleasure of working with many, many, many women like "us" and helping them get beyond the scale to facilitate long-term sustainable change in their lives.

The reasons that I'm successful are because I recognize how broken the traditional process is. Most coaches and trainers spend 90% of their time focused on the outer person and process. They focus on the nutrition. The diet. The exercise. The techniques. Yet they only spend about 10% of their time focused on the inner person. The beliefs. The mindset. The habits.  

Here's the problem with that...I believe that in all areas of life, success is really 80% inner and 20% outer. The percentages are completely flipped. Yet most coaches spend 80% of their time focused on the areas that will yield the least amount of long-term sustainable results.  

My approach is different. Instead of trying to transform you from the outside in, my first priority is to focus on you. Instead of coming in and bombarding you with practices and processes, I focus on isolating and figuring out your own unique way to get to the goals that you need. And my results speak for themselves.

"I came across Aprill’s Facebook page a few months ago as I was searching for some female motivation to get fit. I had been going to a trainer for months and saw results, but the trainer didn’t educate me on healthy eating and wasn’t very patient in our workouts.
